Circus Mania first and Second Edition cover change

Okay, it doesn’t show the performer from the most flattering angle, but I think the anonymity of the cover image on the first edition of Circus Mania creates a sense of intrigue. Designer Nick Pearson chose the image to convey the idea of “plunging into” the world of the circus, which is what Circus Mania does.

But in case you’re wondering who that is on the cover, it’s Denis Remnez, flying through the fountains of the Great Yarmouth Hippodrome.

Here's another picture of him from the same performance.

Out Now!
And here is the cover of Circus Mania's 2nd Edition with a more traditional illustration to reflect the fact that 2018 is Circus250, celebrating 250 years since Philip Astley founded the first modern circus in 1768.

I like the way designer Pablo Cambariere turned the tail of the 'R' into an elephant's trunk!
